This is a campaign to stop eye injuries being inflicted on protesters calling for democracy in Bahrain. It is understood that there are over 50 serious eye injuries as a result of police action and we will be documenting many of them on this website in the coming weeks.

We are calling for:

• security forces to stop targeting eyes with their weapons;
• adequate treatment for all eye injuries, especially for those people in prison;
• an end to the arrests being made from hospital beds;
• compensation to be paid to all those families affected.
